In your dreams pal!
imagined by: James Mathias

“In your dreams pal!”, Sadly stan has heard this phrase all too often.
This week, illustration Friday’s topic was dreams. Enjoy!
I tried out a different style of coloring and inking, just wanted to see something different.
In your dreams pal!

Luv the heavy lines, dude! They really give your Stan executioner a lotta weight and solidity. Remember Bill Watterson ? He did the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip in the newspapers years back. He used very heavy lines and it also looked great!
I need to start using heavier lines too.

Yeah, I have all the calvin and hobbes books, he’s definately one of my comic strip heroes.
I think the dark, thick lines work well with this drawing, but they don’t always work.
Thanks though Steve, I thought I had lost your visits.

Nah, I’m like a cockroach. Even if you think I’m dead, I’ll be back around. By the way, you need to sweep under the refrigerator…

His nipples, navel and body hair combine and sort of make a face on his torso. A scary, strung out face with extremely long lower lashes. *G* Poor Stan!
