The day the earth stood still
imagined by: James Mathias
Yes, I know, I am back with a blog and of all things I could have possibly done in my free time, why a bee-log?
Not quite sure, but it is something I have wanted to put up [with] for a while, and I think it’ll be a good place to let loose, after a hard day at work.
Plus, I think it’s good to have another showcase of the power of OnePanel, and a place to post my wacky illustrations. I guess this is the reason I really pushed this out on the weekend.
Additionally, I ran across this awesome site called Illustration Friday, needless to say I want to participate–as I feel it’s a swell idear–and get the old illustration chops back in line with my nun-chuck skills, thusly and such this site was a neccessity.
Illustration Friday requires you to post your entries to your own website, and since Onelotus is like the front of a mullet, I needed to get the back combed out, anyways.

Yes, my plans are to use this site to flex some of my less web related creative muscles, and just basically a place to wind down after work.
I am glad you like it, and if folks wanna fill ’er up with comments I wouldn’t be opposed.

Hehe not a problem. You should also add a function to “Remember Personal Info” for email, and website adddress.
Like David suggested on the forums, you should also have a way to view comments without having to click “Add yours” maybe make the (x) comments a link?

It should already be setting a cookie with your name email and www, automatically… is it not? it does for me. Let me know, or do you mean a check box to give the option to remember or not?

No it is not working for me, I didn’t know it was already setup either, so no checkbox required.
