The following is a Internet memo I found at fellow 9ruler RobotJohnny. Normally I’m above stealing from my fellow bloggers, but this one is just too interesting to continue adhering to my loose moral standards. The point of this memo is to answer loosely formed “questions” with randomly played songs from your media player of choice. In my case that would be iTunes. So I present to you my version of “If your life were a soundtrack, what would the music be?”

The official rules of this memo as lifted from RobotJohnny are as follows;

1. Open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, iPod).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that’s playing.
5. New question– press the next button.
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool.

Interesting results, quite interesting. Most are fitting if you listen to the lyrics of each. Some, however, do not fit well at all, but that’s the fun of it I suppose. The pure randomness of it all.

I think that may be a good lesson for life as well. “It’s all random, it’s all bullshit.”
