Justin Timberlake is Hilarious

imagined by: James Mathias

The first time I heard Justin Timberlake was going to host SNL, a show as beloved to me as any, I was nervous and quite frankly unsure he’d be able to make the show worth watching. I mean considering some of the absolute duds that have hosted in the 31 years it’s been on the air. Britney Spears comes to mind, as does Michael Jordan and of course who could forget the debacle that was Senator John McKay?

Although I felt it was going to be terrible episode, I watched anyways, as a loyal viewer of SNL since 1988, I felt compelled to at least try and sit through it.

Justin blew my preconceived notions out of the water, he absolutely killed it! From Omelette-ville to a dead on Micheal Bolton impression to his duet with a Forte-voiced Kermit and everything in between, Justin absolutely made the show the funniest in recent memory. I was extremely impressed.

So when I heard he was going to be hosting again this last Saturday I was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to watch. And boy did he ever deliver, his second hosting is easily the best on record for a repeat hosting. Justin just straight-up brought the funny. It was during the Target sketch that I realized, Justin Timberlake is just one of “those guys”. He can do anything he wants well.

I’m very interested in seeing his upcoming movie Alpha Dog as well, the trailer makes it look like he’s bringing the performance again.

Oh and Yes I do own his first CD (Justified) and plan on buying his second (Future Sex/Love Sounds), ’cause, you know, he’s good at that music stuff too.

Bonus: Dick in a Box video (uncensored)

You know the score, keep it clean and on topic. “Spammers” & “trolls” are decimated on sight.

JT is the man, IMO. I really think he is an entertainer through-and-through and almost ever SNL skit he has done has turned instant classic.

Colin D. Devroe

OH! And your YouTube addiction is very apparent. smile Damn broadband.

James Mathias

Yeah! I actually thought I would get reamed for this post, JT being an ex-band boy member and all, but he’s apparently eclipsed his past and become a force of entertaining nature to be reckoned with.

As for YouTube, I actually find the good ones through other sites, I don’t have the time to surf through all the crap at the actually YouTube site.

David Myers

I saw a bit of SNL and he was entertaining, but I’m not a fan of his music at all.

James Mathias

Yeah, it’s definitely a genre of music that is an acquired taste, but I do dig it.

Maggi

That video was really funny! I never think to watch SNL, as I am never up that late and it doesn’t occur to me to TIVO…but maybe I will now.

James Mathias

Yeah I just TIVO it as I can’t stay up that late either. In fact I TIVO everything, I never watch anything live anymore.

Maggi

shoot we sure sound old….

James Mathias

Not old, just scheduled and disciplined. At least that’s what I tell myself.

that show was great. it made me laugh out loud like when jimmy fallon and horatio or even chris farley and adam sandler were on…
