Sorry about that folks, I had tried to upload some spam filter code I wrote and apparently overwrote the comment processing module with nothing, just blanked it out, I blame transmit.
Got it fixed just now, Thanks to David S. for pointing out the issue!
So it’s should be working now, please continue your normal commenting schedule.

Yeah, well there is no way to completely stop it, but I have reduced it by at least 80%, which works for me.

I’d been noticing you were getting hit a lot more recently… and some of them were downright vile.

Yeah, they were getting out of control, I was deleting about 20 to 30 a day. All full of bad stuffs.

Have you thought about using Akismet? Perhaps requiring membership and pusing OpenID?

I Don’t use wordpress so Askimet is not useful.
I will be requiring registration to comment when OP 2 is completed.
I have no idea what pusing OpenID is though.
Plus, I made a change to my filter last night after the spam that David saw, and I haven’t gotten another spam comment yet, I’m hoping that I can stay on top of it, but I think I’ve squashed a good % of the automated bot spam.

Akismet isnt just for wordpress, you can use it in custom applications too!

OK. But, why would I want to do the extra work to make it work with Onepanel, then require potential Onepanel users to have a Wordpress API key in order to use it?
I’d rather just create my own filter.
