Key to Nothing
imagined by: James Mathias

I may unlock mysteries of man, I may unlock nothing, that is the mystery of the junk drawer key.
I found this key in our junk drawer I have no idea what it opens, and I’m not sure I want to know. It modeled for me whilst I drew it upon printer paper with a 0.7mm BIC mechanical pencil, scanned and resized in Photoshop CS2 while listening to Bach and Beethoven.
Enjoy, I may or may not miss the daily drawings tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday but, I definitely won’t be able to post them until Monday if I do get a chance to draw them, I’ll explain Monday.

Ok, so even though it’s just you and me talking here… I’ll let you in on the secret to the key. It is a key to a pair of play handcuffs!

Nice key. Though I do believe it to be the key to something. Even it be just you seeing it, and being inspired to draw it, this chain reaction, this butterfly effect, this key, has opened you to a whole new path. Now I too, now having seen it, have involuntarily used it, opening yet another door and now pushing me through.
