Over at viddler they’ve got a video meme (or veme) going around asking users to film themselves telling 5 random things about themselves.
I thought I’d throw my hat in the ring, so please forgive my hard stare and serious demeanor, this is only the second time I’ve done a video of myself talking and the first where I spoke more than a single sentence.

This is also the first time many people will be able to hear my last name and the name of this site pronounced, so keep an ear out for that if you’re curious.

Not boring at all, I enjoyed it. 12 years of school, and you only missed 5 days, which was forced? Didn’t you ever get sick? That’s amazing, really.

First of all, as is my obligation - thanks for using Viddler.
Now - I am with everyone else when thinking that you didn’t miss any school unless forced, that is just crazy. No vacations? No illness?
And the hard media - definitely needs to be properly cataloged and put on video for all to see. Awesome.

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed it.
@Josh and Colin, yeah I still went to school even if I was sick, it boiled down to not wanting to miss anything. And I never took vacations as a kid, that’s what summer was for.
@Rich, coming from anyone else that would have been plain creepy.
@Wilhelm, yeah I know.
@Colin (again) Yeah I could film everything but the CDs as they are all digital now and hard stuff packed away.
@David, definitely do that!!

Maggi, Thanks! I did a new one today that is a little less serious. But, I can’t upload it until tomorrow as my internet service went down and they have a 11am tomorrow estimate for reconnection, so I’m on back-up dial-up and I’m not going to attempt a video upload on that.
Kennedy, No worries. Yea Viddler does streaming only, it doesn’t remember what’s been downloaded, it’s my only peeve with their system.

Yes and when you’re stuck on a 3.5 megabits/s (or so they say) its quite hard to watch, could you possibly upload it to youtube?
