The Great Tea Fiasco
imagined by: James Mathias

James was really pissed off that the tea he’d ordered was so blazing hot, how was he supposed to drink tea with his foot when it was so goddamn hot. Christ!
Drawn on printer paper with a BIC mechanical pencil, then inked with Micron black ink pens .005 and .03. Scanned, resized and saved for the web in Photoshop CS2, while listening to iTunes on shuffle.
This was suggested by Mike Rohde today via IM, when asked “What should I draw today?” his response was “Someone drinking a blazing hot cup of tea with their feet.” To which I said “yikes… OK that’s a challenge, I accept it.”
Additionally, Mike decided to draw the same thing to see the two different interpretations of the same idea. Which was fun, so go check that out.
Enjoy, both and see you tomorrow.

James, that’s a funny portrayal of a pretty crazy idea. Thanks for the challenge! :-)

That’s what I thought I should do, I don’t think very linearly (is that a word).
