It’s Hard Being an Onion
imagined by: James Mathias

So I imagine, ’ole Bob McGurty here, has a tough go of it, at work as a Senior Web Developer, for a big time software developer.
I mean I can’t imagine how alone a guy with an Onion for a head would feel. My co-workers complain if I eat a sandwhich with onions… So, his whole head can’t exactly be causing great gatherings.
Poor, smelly guy.
Illustration Friday topic ’o the week “Alone” What can I say. Not much, I think the idea is pretty self explanatory.

I wanna meet Mr. Garlichead. Not much of an onion fan though.

This is most excellent. Mr. Tuna Fish is really the one that grosses me out at work though…

Thank you all.
I agree “Tunafish Guy” (Tom Foster) and “Garlic Fella” (Bill Johnson) are just as lonely, and I ponder just as offensive to the olfactory sensors.

Am I the only one who finds the irony in an onion crying?
I feel sorry for my fellow large-noggin-men. Even if their heads are veggies, they deserve to be treated just like any other man! Poor guy.

Well, an “onion” crying is irony at it’s most specific. If you were the only one to get it, I would think it a sad state of affairs, and a poor reflection of the education system.

Well, everyone that he goes out on a date with can say that he has many ’layers’ to his personality. Great illustration and great idea !
Maybe his tie is too tight, like Mr. Macky from South Park. Tight Neckties are bad…mmmkay…
