Body For Life 4: Month 1 of 3

imagined by: James Mathias

Here I am. 40 weeks into my Body for Life program. Feeling good about my self, my body and overall health. I’ve lost 128 pounds as of yesterday. That’s an additional 4 pounds since my last weigh-in, which is a low number but it’s about right for a healthy decrease. I’ve got to accept that as I get closer to my goal weight I’m not going to be able to loss the pounds as quickly as before.

I feel really good overall, I’ve got tons of energy, my body is becoming stronger with every workout. Eating is still on track, although I have been experimenting with eating whatever I want on Sundays as I’m supposed to, according to the plan. It seems to work out, but I’ve had a couple of Sunday’s where I felt like I over did it, but I’m able to go right back to proper eating habits on Monday through Saturday without a problem, in fact I look forward to Monday, as opposed to Sunday. I think that says that my attitude about food has changed, which is a very good and important thing if I am to maintain this lifestyle long term.

I’m going to stop eating crap on Sundays this coming Sunday, I just don’t like the way I feel after a piece of chocolate or a slice of Pizza, just kind of weighed down and sick, honestly can’t believe I use to eat that way all the time, no wonder I always felt tired and sick.

Oh well, at least no one can say I didn’t give eating what I want on Sundays a shot. I did, I just don’t like it.

Well, I guess I haven’t got much more to share this time around. I’ll just close by saying to my fellow dieters.

Keep on truckin’, your goals are just around the bend.

PS: I’ll be back on the motivational posts wagon next week, I missed last week and this week due to other obligations and I’m very sorry.

You know the score, keep it clean and on topic. “Spammers” & “trolls” are decimated on sight.

Well done. I am also experimenting with new eating habits - which I plan to write up… I’m hoping to come up with a program of my own that works.

Keep it up….

Thanks Colin.

Yeah it’s a learning experience and trial and error for what works.

Nicely done. I recently finished my first stint with Body for Life. I forgot to do all the measurements and whatnot for comparison though.

For the past week I’ve been off the program (don’t want to get right into it with all the impending moving). I’m really looking forward to getting started again though. Like you I looked forward to Sundays but when they came I was looking foward to Mondays that much more.

Keep up the good work!
