Introducing The Artistic Outlaw
imagined by: James Mathias
For a while now I’ve had a second blog, an ugly brother of leihu. He’s been in the shadows, kind of hiding at Onelotus. But no more, I’ve brought him out into the light, given him his own stand alone identity and home. I would like to introduce you to, maybe for the first time, The Artistic Outlaw.
The Artistic Outlaw is my creative professional blog, where I can talk about my work and the things I do to get it done. I’ll talk about things around the interweb, my projects open and closed, my tools, how I use those tools and anything else I can think of that relates to being a creative professional.
I hope you check it out and stay a while. It’s very new, and the existing articles sans two are from the old Journal on Onelotus and the Developmentally Able category on leihu.
Help me spread the word and get The Artistic Outlaw’s readership up into the stratosphere. Also if you have any suggestions for instructional posts you’d like to read please drop me a line.
And yes, this does mean that the Anatomy of a Forum posts will pick back up.

Looks fantastic.
Very, very nice. Great work James.
On a side note, having checked out your pic in the About section… you are barely recognizable. Christ you’ve changed so much over the years.

@Michael, thanks, I hope to see you there.
@Roger, Thanks my mang. Yeah I am starting to look like I should as opposed to that guy who covered him self in blubber to keep the world out. It’s a good feeling.

I really like the design, very nice to look at & simple.
One issue, why the ads James?

Thanks Kennedy.
The single ad on the front page sidebar? Didn’t think it would hurt anyone, and I feel like I’m allowed to monetize my work a little.

Oh, does it actually generate quite a bit of revenue? I was just wondering really, it’s not a big deal to me at all

I don’t know, I’ve never had ads before, it’s an experiment really. I hope to generate something off of it.
