For this week’s NetFlix One Line Reviews I watched Dragon Wars, The Brave One, Undead or Alive, Weirdsville, Rise of The Dead, Home of The Brave, The Ten and Across The Universe.

Dragon Wars; “OK. There is ’so bad it’s good’, then there is just plain bad. Unfortunately this fell hard into the latter. The plot is so disjointed it’s impossible to follow, the acting is really, really bad and the CGI is absolutely horrendous. Steer clear.”

The Brave One; “Amazing. Amy and I both loved, loved this film. Both Jodie and Terrence gave phenomenal performances.”

Undead or Alive; “Much funnier than I expected it to be, I really enjoyed it. Not a purchase, but definitely a rental.”

Weirdsville; “Lives up to the title, I quite enjoyed it’s nuance and wacky subplots. It’s a big circle, and everything comes around that goes around. Good film.”

Rise of The Dead; “Seriously. Hollywood. Please. If you gave me the budget you spent on this crap-fest, you’d have had a blockbusting money maker. Instead you blew millions to make a movie that looks and smells like a zombie flick, but is really a movie about a dead baby who possesses people to kill other people and ends up having sex with his mother and makes her pregnant with himself… WTF??”

Home of The Brave; “Sad film, but a nice introspective look at what happens when you come home from a war.”

The Ten; “Wacky. Definitely what you’d expect. Funny in some unexpected spots.”

Across The Universe; “Incredible. Loved this flick. What’s not to love? Musical, The Beatles an actual story based on and around the music of an epic band. The performances, both singing and acting alike were on point. Loved it.”
