Jon Jackabee, never told anyone close to him that he possesed a special ability that no other person had. He was reluctant to tell his family, friends and even lovers. It’s not that he thought they couldn’t be trusted, or that they might sell him out to the scientific community, or that they might shun him and call him a freak.

No, Jon’s only reason for not sharing his gift, was that he couldn’t bear the thought of having to “share” his special gift… He didn’t want to become a “ride”, he was afraid of becoming everyone’s personal flight transport.

Yes Jon, can fly. You ask, why did he tell me his secret? He didn’t, in fact I just happened to look up into the sky at the exact right moment. It was amazing, and this illustration doesn’t do it justice, but it’s close.
