What Johnny Taught Me.

imagined by: James Mathias

Johnny gave me a gift, he has only loaned it to me, and expects me to pass it on. I intend to do so. Johnny was a beautiful soul and he had lessons to learn, they were hard lessons but he has successfully passed these lessons on to me, and I hope onto many others as well. I never got a chance to meet Johnny face to face or on the phone or through the internet, I only got to share his last three months of life on film, but I feel like I had the great honor and opportunity to know him.

Johnny Kennedy was a man who at 36 had figured out more about life and death than many people can in 70 or 80 years. He taught me something, he gave me something, and I took it with pride, and tears in my eyes. I want to give that gift away now, as Johnny would have wanted. I believe this is a gift to share. It changed my life for the better, and I know it’ll change others as well. We need just listen with our true ears, and take it in with our true minds, and true hearts.

His gift was truth.

His gift was to let us know, that fear is not necessary. We need not fear anything, because the universe has it right, and we just need to let go, and enjoy our rides.

I feared death, now I do not. I accept and understand that it’s part of life, and that our journey’s do not end with death, but only change, and change is the one constant in our world.

I’ll miss you Johnny, and thank you.

You know the score, keep it clean and on topic. “Spammers” & “trolls” are decimated on sight.

I really hope that you’re right about life and death, it’d be a shame if there was no purpose and this was it. Aside from what i’ve seen on The Discovery Channel, I know very little about him, he was never talked about in school. Maybes it’s time for me to do a little reading of my own.
