Moving On…
imagined by: James Mathias
Some folks know this, others do not.
But, I’m happy, excited, scared. stressed and relieved to announce that my family, business and I are making a big move up north about 436 miles from Portland, Oregon.
To a little place called Bonners Ferry, Idaho. It’s about 30 miles south of Canada and a great small town in which to raise my boys. We are moving into a brand new 2005 home with 1760 sq ft living space, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, an oversized 2 car garage (not included in the overall square footage it’s an additional 625 sq ft) and a full length deck spans the entire back side of the house. The house sits on 1.5 acres of flat usable land, with great potential.
We are moving up on the 5th of July, and if all goes well–knock on wood–I’ll be back up and going with the business and this blog on the 12th of July. So I wanted everyone to know that I’ll be missing in action from the 5th through the 12th, but I’ll still be working on my client projects, I just won’t be able to access the internet, email etc.
OK, so that’s that, wish us luck and I’ll see you guys real soon.

big move, j. glad you’re financially able to do it. i think it’s wonderful that a couple years back this was just a dream (supporting yourself by means of your web design), and now it is a reality. i’m quite proud of your accomplishments.
keep it up, bro.

Yeah, being a web developer is a terrific job, and I’m lucky to be able to do it successfully.
Thanks, Roger I appreciate the respect!

Wow, congratulations! I just tossed Bonners Ferry ID into Google Earth, and flew down from space to your new area (damn, I love that application). I am envious - it looks like an excellent place to live from 2900 feet up. Is it as lush as it looks?

Yes sir it is. This is likely the most beautiful place I have ever put up stakes.
I love it here, aside from the “boonies” factor it is awesome.
